Blueberry Glazed Biscuits
For the biscuits:
  • 2¼ cups Bisquick (I use HeartSmart)
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ¾ - 1 cup buttermilk (can use milk or make your own buttermilk)
  • 1 cup blueberries (if using frozen, thaw first and drain)
For the glaze:
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp milk
  1. Preheat oven to 450. Spray baking sheet with non-stick spray
  2. Stir together Bisquick, sugar and buttermilk until a soft dough forms.
  3. Fold in blueberries, gently.
  4. Using a large ice cream scoop (mine holds about 3 tbsp), scoop the dough onto the cookie sheet and bake 9-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes on a wire rack, remove to a serving plate.
  6. Combine powdered sugar and milk and spoon over still warm biscuits.
