Cool off with this recipe for an Easy Vanilla Bean Funfetti Milkshake. Loaded with colorful sprinkles, creamy vanilla ice cream, and topped with strawberry marshmallows and chocolate syrup. It makes a refreshing, fun, and delicious summer drink for everyone.
6 - 8 tablespoonswhole milk (or whatever milk you prefer, even non-dairy works great)
16ouncesvanilla frosting
9 ounce bottle funfetti sprinkles
1cupchocolate syrup
2cupswhipped cream
8marshmallows
Instructions
In a blender add in your tub of ice cream. Blend the ice cream until it’s smooth.
Once the ice cream has a smooth consistency, add in 6-8 tablespoons of milk. Blend the milk into the ice cream until incorporated. I like a thicker milkshake. If you prefer a runnier milkshake add a bit more milk.
If you are using a Ninja blender like I have, remove the blade and add in your sprinkles. I used about 3/4 of a 9-ounce bottle of sprinkles for this recipe. Fold the sprinkles in with a spoon or spatula.
Grab the glasses that you are using and prepare the tops of them. Using a spatula, spread a THIN layer of frosting around the outside rim of the glasses. Using a flat plate dip your glass in the sprinkles until all the icing is covered.
Fill your glass until nearly full. You’ll want to keep some room in the cup for the whipped cream. Top your funfetti milkshake with canned whipped cream or the whipped cream of your choice.
Drizzle the top of the whipped cream with chocolate syrup.
Using a small wooden skewer place the marshmallows on the skewer, using as many as you want. Then add your straw and you are ready to enjoy your homemade easy funfetti milkshake!
