  • small bowl

Ingredients

  • Frankenstein Peeps candy
  • Reese's Chocolate Pumpkins
  • 2 varieties of crackers (round and rectangle)
  • Mini Pumpkin Cheeseballs
  • Fresh Mozzarella cheese balls
  • Gummy Worms
  • Green olives with pimento
  • Candy eyeballs
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Halloween spider rings
  • Skelton hand

Instructions

  • Place a sheet of parchment paper on your charcuterie board, if desired. Add the Fresh Mozzarella Balls into a small bowl, and place a candy eyeball onto each of the pieces on top. Place the bowl of Fresh Mozzarella Balls with the candy eyes towards the top left of your board.
  • Place the Frankenstein Peeps candy towards the bottom right and the round crackers layered from the top middle, around the mozzarella balls, and down to the Frankenstein peeps.
  • Add the Pepperoni slices on the bottom right ⅔ of the board, and the Reese’s Chocolate Pumpkins (7 of them) below the crackers, to the right of the Frankenstein Peeps.
  • The mini pumpkin cheeseballs are placed at the middle left side of the board with the rectangle crackers below the cheese balls.
  • Add a few gummy worms above the cheese balls. Then poke a toothpick into the sides of 3 olives. Repeat about 5 times. We used 15 olives total for this board. Add the olive skewers to fill in the gaps.
  • Fill in more of the gaps with Halloween spider rings, then set a skeleton hand over the board. Refrigerate the board until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Get creative with your charcuterie board. You can even use a coffin-shaped tray.
  • Add your favorite cheeses, like cheddar, Swiss, smoked Gouda, goat cheese, or a sharp white cheddar. don’t forget a cheese knife.
  • Use your favorite meats like smoked sausage, prosciutto, or salami.
  • Get the kids involved to pick out their favorite Halloween candy to use.
  • Fresh fruits like blackberries or caramel apples are delicious to add.
  • The type of cracker you use is up to you. I use whatever I may have in the pantry. Sometimes it’s Ritz crackers.
