Grilled Pound Cake with Fresh Berries #SummerGrilling
The buttery toasted flavor of Grilled Pound Cake makes a great base for fresh summertime berries. Serve with a scoop of ice cream and it's a perfect summer dessert.

- 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 6 slices pound cake about 1 inch thick
- butter
In a medium bowl, combine the the berries with the sugar lemon zest; set aside while the cake is grilling.
Preheat the Hamilton Beach Searing Indoor Grill to 450 degrees.
Spread butter over both sides of cake slices.
Grill, uncovered, for 1-2 minutes on each side or until light golden brown.
Remove pound cake slices to serving plates.
Spoon berries over cake and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
