Frozen Strawberry Margarita Mocktail
A frozen virgin strawberry margarita is a delicious way to cool down on hot summer days. This margarita mocktail has only five ingredients and uses a simple syrup to sweeten it.

Non-alcoholic version
- 1 16 ounce bag frozen strawberries
- ⅓ cup fresh orange juice (1 - 2 large oranges)
- ⅓ cup fresh lime juice (3 large limes)
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 - 2 tablespoons simple syrup * (optional)
- ice, optional
- lime slices and fresh strawberries for garnish, optional
Alcohol version
- 1 16 ounce bag frozen strawberries
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice (2 large limes)
- 4 ounces white tequila
- 2 ounces orange-flavored liqueur
Making the simple syrup *
To make non-alcoholic version
Place half the frozen strawberries into a high-powered blender. Add lime juice, orange juice, and water. Cover and blend on highest setting until smooth, approximately 1-2 minutes.
Remove vent cap on blender lid and add the remaining frozen strawberries one at a time while the blender is still running. Continue blending until all strawberries have been added and the mixture is completely smooth.
Taste, and if you would like the drinks a little sweeter, add 1 - 2 tablespoons of the cooled simple syrup. Blend once again to mix. For thicker margaritas, add some ice until desired consistency is reached. For thinner consistency, add a little water.
Pour into serving glasses and garnish with lime slices and/or fresh strawberries right before serving.
