Fresh Fruit Yogurt Parfaits

Fresh Fruit Yogurt Parfaits are so simple to make and so delicious to have for breakfast or as an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

  • your favorite yogurt plain or flavored
  • fresh or frozen fruit of your choice
  • granola

Instructions

  • Since this is a make as much or little as you like kind of recipe, I am not including amounts.
  • In the bottom of a dessert glass, plastic container, cup, or small bowl add a layer of yogurt.
  • Top the yogurt with fresh fruit and then a layer of granola.
  • Repeat the layers one more time ending with fresh fruit.
  • Serve immediately or chill for later.

Notes

Prepare the parfaits for your child's lunchbox easily with a lidded container, whether it's plastic or glass.  Add a little granola in a resealable bag so it can be added at lunchtime.  The granola can get a bit soft if added to the parfaits.  Not an issue at all, but sometimes that crunch is perfect with the fruit and yogurt.
