Easy Spring Fruit and Rice Krispies Treat Kabobs are a fun and festive twist on the marshmallow treat. The perfect sweet treat for any celebration.
butter or margarine
10 oz., or about 40 Marshmallows or 4 cups Miniature Marshmallows
crispy rice cereal
Fresh fruits such as: raspberries
kiwi slices, orange wedges, grapes, pineapple chunks, watermelon, strawberries, etc
Butter a 13 x 9 inch pan. Set aside.
Melt margarine in
Swiss Diamond Cast Iron Round Casserole
or large Dutch oven over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Stir in cereal until well coated.
Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered pan and let cool for at least an hour before cutting into shapes or small squares.
While the treats are cooling, cut the fruit into shapes.
Alternating with fruit, thread the cereal treats onto the wooden skewers.
Serve room temperature.
