Easy Sonic Ocean Water Copycat Recipe

Make your own copycat version of the Sonic Ocean Water drink with just a few ingredients. The vibrant blue fizzy drink is refreshing and has the perfect splash of tropical taste from the coconut flavoring. It's a perfect summer drink!

Equipment

  • small microwavable bowl
  • pitcher
  • mason jar glasses

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ tablespoons water
  • 2 ½ tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoons coconut extract
  • 2-3 drops of blue food coloring
  • 24 ounces Sprite or lemon-lime soda ( TWO 12 ounce cans)

Instructions

  • Combine the sugar and water in a small bowl (be sure it's microwave safe). Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into a pitcher. Add the extract and food coloring and mix well.
  • Once mixed, pour the Sprite into the pitcher and mix one more time.
  • Serve and enjoy over ice.
