Equipment

  • 14-inch round platter or charcuterie board
  • small bowls or containers
  • knife
  • 1 inch star cookie cutter
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

Amounts vary for how large of a board you are making

  • Pepper Jack cheese block
  • salami slices
  • pepperoni slices
  • fresh raspberries
  • fresh blackberries
  • yogurt covered pretzels
  • Nut-Thins crackers or your favorite round cracker
  • red, white, and blue candy coins
  • red, white, and blue gumballs
  • red, white, and blue lollipops

Instructions

  • Prepare your charcuterie board by cutting a piece of parchment paper to fit. This helps keep the board clean and from staining.
  • Cut the cheese into pieces that are just larger than the star cookie cutter. Then slice the cheese into 4 slices. Use the cookie cutter to cut stars out of the cheese.
  • Add the blackberries, raspberries, and gumballs to small white bowls. Arrange the bowls onto the board first.
  • Add the lollipops to the board.
  • Roll the salami slices into cone shapes. Stack the salami cones next to the fruit containers to help keep them rolled.
  • Next, arrange the crackers and pepperoni slices on the board, and keep alternating the colors. Add in the cheese stars and yogurt-covered pretzels.
  • Add the candy coins next, filling in any empty spaces. Serve!
