  • trail mix (we used a sweet and salty mix)
  • Cheez-It crackers
  • Colby Jack cheese sticks
  • Long flatbread crackers
  • crunchy long breadsticks
  • Genoa/Mozarella cheese roll-ups
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Marinated Mozarella cheese balls
  • Fresh strawberries (keep the leaves on)
  • Fresh blackberries
  • Green grapes
  • Gkerkin pickles
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Cheddar cheese cubes

Instructions

See blog post for images on assembling steps, if needed.

  • For the base layer, in each cup add just enough of the trail mix to cover the bottom. Then add 4 of the small cheese crackers. Next, add one long flatbread cracker, one cheese stick, and one long crunch breadstick (using the trail mix to anchor them.)
  • Using a knife and cutting board, cut the Genoa/Mozarella roll-ups into 4 pieces. Grab a wooden skewer and add in this order, ¼ of the Genoa/Mozarell roll, one grape tomato, and 1 marinated mozzarella ball to the skewer. Repeat for the other 11 skewers and one to each of the cups.
  • For the next skewer, add a small strawberry with leaves intact, a blackberry, and a green grape. Place in cup and repeat for 11 more skewers.
  • For the third and final skewer: add a Gherkin pickle, 2 pepperoni slices, each folded in half twice and then stacked (so they appear to look fanned out), and 1 cheddar cheese cube. Place in cup and repeat for the other 11 skewers.
  • Finish the mini charcuterie cups by filling in the gaps with a couple of blackberries, cheddar cheese slices/cubes, and a couple of Cheez-Its if needed. Serve and enjoy!
