- 1½ pounds boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise. (you want thinner pieces)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 can (10.6 ounces) Campbell's Condensed French Onion soup
- 1 package Lipton onion soup mix (dry)
- 5 slices Swiss cheese (use more if you like)
Slice you chicken breasts in half lengthwise for thinner slices and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Top chicken pieces with the sliced onions.
Pour the soup over the meat and onions; then top with the soup mix.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. Check at the 4 hours mark as some slow cookers can cook faster.
Once the meat is cooked and tender, top with cheese and let it melt with the cover on. Serve over rice or one of the suggestions in the blog posts.
