Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons garlic powder
  • tablespoons ground black pepper
  • tablespoons ground white pepper
  • 6 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your tastes)
  • tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • tablespoons dried thyme
  • tablespoons dried basil

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk to combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container until ready to use in your favorite recipes. The seasonings should last up to 4 months stored properly.

Notes

  • Check the expiration date of your spices and herbs. You want to make sure you have the freshest ingredients.
  • Store homemade spices in an airtight container like these spice jars. Keep them in a cool dark place.
  • If your spices are in a clump, they are still good! You can pour the contents into a bowl and mash the lumps with a whisk or use a small food processor to blend again.
  • The cayenne pepper can be adjusted to suit your heat level.
  • I have not included salt in this recipe. Most of the time I omit it as I can add salt to my foods but I can’t take it out. Feel free to add it to your tastes.
