Ingredients

  • 4 mini croissants
  • 4 slices French bread, each cut in half
  • 4 slices deli ham, rolled
  • 6 slices salami
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese, each cut into quarters
  • 3 slices Provolone cheese, each cut in half
  • ¼ cup pickle slices
  • ¾ cup spring mix blend of lettuces
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • ½ small red onion, peeled and sliced thinly
  • mayonnaise, to fill the small bowl
  • mustard, to fill the small bowl

Instructions

  • Use the images in the post for a visual idea of where everthing goes.
  • Prep your ingredients – Slice all cheeses, tomato, and red onion. Quarter or halve cheeses as needed for layering, and set aside. Keep pickles and lettuce ready for easy assembly
  • Arrange the croissants – Place the croissants near the top of your tray, slightly to the right, leaving space for other ingredients and condiments.
  • Position the French bread – Lay two rows of halved French bread slices at the bottom left of the platter, slightly overlapping each row and alternating their positions for visual appeal.
  • Add condiments and greens – Place mustard in a small ramekin about one inch below the croissants at the top left, and mayonnaise in a ramekin slightly above the bread on the right. Tuck the spring mix under the croissants, next to the mustard, to anchor the center of the board.
  • Arrange meats, cheeses, and veggies –
•Fold the salami slices in half and arrange them between the mustard and mayonnaise bowls, alternating the direction of each fold.
•Fold and roll the ham slices, then place them on the right under the lettuce.
•Lay provolone halves slightly overlapping at the top left of the croissants.
•Arrange cheddar slices above the bread on the right, slightly overlapping and alternating angles.
•Layer tomato slices above the bread on the left and pile red onion slices above the tomatoes, under the provolone.
•Fill in gaps with pickle slices to add crunch and color.
