Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking, and prepare your workspace with all decorating elements within easy reach.
  • Add the white candy melts to a small microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave for 30-second intervals until fully melted, stirring well between each heating session to ensure smoothness.
  • Dip each cookie completely into the melted candy coating, using a fork to lift it out; gently tap the fork against the bowl edge to remove any excess coating. Set the dipped cookies onto the prepared parchment paper.
  • Immediately place three M&Ms of the same color (either red or green) down the center of the bottom portion of each coated cookie to create the snowman's "buttons".
  • Refrigerate the baking sheet for approximately 5 minutes to allow the white candy coating and the attached M&Ms to fully set and harden before continuing with the detailed decorations.
  • Use the red or green decorating gel to draw a horizontal line across the center of the cookie (above the M&M buttons), then add a small, short line angling down from the main line to create a scarf tail.
  • Transfer the black icing to a piping bag with a tiny snip at the end, and carefully pipe two dots for the eyes and a small, smiling curve for the mouth onto the top section of the cookie.
  • Use a toothpick to dab a tiny dot of the melted white candy onto the back of an orange sprinkle and arrange it between the eyes and the mouth to serve as the snowman's nose.
