Copycat Recipe for Passion Tea Lemonade

Making this simple copycat recipe Iced Passion Tea Lemonade at home is a cinch with just two ingredients.  Refreshing and delicious to sip on during the summer.

  • 2 teaspoons Adagio Kelsey's Blend tea (or use two passion tea teabags)
  • 16 ounces boiling water
  • 4 ounces light lemonade
  • sugar or sweetener, to taste - if desired
  • ice

  • Brewing loose tea is easy.  If you have a loose tea strainer, simply fill it with two teaspoons of Kelsey's Blend tea and steep it with 16 ounces of boiling water for 15 minutes.
If you do not, use a piece of cheesecloth and tie it with some string, place in the water to steep.
Loose tea measurements usually are one teaspoon of tea to 8 ounces of water.  If you are using tea bags, you will use two of them. If you are adding sugar, this is the time to do so when the tea is hot.
  • Once the tea is steeped, discard the tea leaves and place tea in refrigerator for about an hour to chill.
  • When the tea is cold,  fill a pitcher with ice, and add the 16 ounces of teas to 4 ounces of lemonade. Give it all a stir and enjoy.
