Ingredients

  • 1 14 ounce can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, add the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Melt over medium heat until smooth, creamy and totally combined.
  • Remove from heat and cool slightly before pouring into a jar. Serve over ice cream. Store sauce in refrigerator. To reheat, place jar in microwave and heat for 30 seconds. Stir.

Notes

  • Store the sauce in the refrigerator in an airtight container. It will keep for about two weeks. To reheat, microwave for about 30 seconds.
  • You can freeze hot fudge sauce. Pour it into a sturdy jar and seal it tightly before freezing. Allow it to thaw completely before use.
  • Serve over ice cream, brownies, pancakes, waffles, and more.
  • It's not recommended to make this hot fudge in the microwave, but you can reheat it in there.
