Ingredients

  • ¼ cup flour
  • cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • unsalted butter, for serving and cooking
  • 8 slices Texas Toast
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sliced strawvberries
  • 1 peach, sliced

Instructions

  • Whisk together the flour, milk, almond extract, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and eggs in a shallow bowl until smooth. Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat and add some butter.
  • Soak the bread slices in the mixture on both sides. Cook the bread until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Placed cooked French toast on a platter, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Then top with the fresh berries and slices of peaches. Serve with maple syrup and butter
