Happiness is Homemade Link Party: Let the Holiday Season Begin

Welcome back to the Happiness is Homemade Link Party! I can’t believe it’s November already! Time to start planning for the holidays with great food and beautiful home decor.  This week Katie, from Love My Messy Messy Mess is our hostess.  She’s gearing up for the holidays with her picks this week.  Check them out and the other amazing links this week.

Hey hey hey everyone – my name is Katie from Love My Messy Messy Mess and it is my turn to host the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party for the month of November!  I am so excited to have you join me this week to see all the amazingness that you bloggers are ready to share with us, and I know our readers are ready to check out your latest and greatest posts!

Every week my fellow co-hosts and I will be posting the weekly link party along with my favorite posts from the previous week.

SOOOOOOOOOOO let’s get started!  Halloween is over and now I’m thinking about Thanksgiving and *cue scary music* CHRISTMAS!  These holidays are right around the corner and I NEED to get my dupa (Polish word for butt) into GEAR!

This Week’s Features!

I have a ton of apples left over from picking and I need to use them up – I think I’m going to try making Marilyn’s Apple Cinnamon Monkey Bread!

I love making homemade gifts for people, and I think these DIY Farmhouse Coasters by Lisa S of Fresh Vintage would be a great hostess gift if you are going somewhere for Thanksgiving dinner!

For whatever crazy reason, I’m getting into a deep-cleaning mode to get ready for the holidays and winter in general.  I almost ALWAYS use homemade vinegar cleaners to do the job – check out this list of how to use Natural Cleaning with Vinegar  from Chas’ Crazy Creations.  Great for the environment and your bank account!

I love making soups as the days get colder, and this Savory Roasted Pumpkin Soup from Shoetring Elegance looked absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!

And finally, this little post just made me giggle – I think it’s funny but she called it a fail, How To Fail Miserably at Gnome Making from The Boondocks Blog.

Now on to the party!
