Apple Pork Chops

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 - 4 boneless pork chops trimmed of visible fat
- 2-3 apples peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- ¼ cup brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9"x9" baking dish with nonstick spray.
Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Spread them evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar over apples.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides, about 2 to 3 minutes per side, then remove from heat.
Place pork chops on top of apples and brown sugar.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until pork chops are tender and cooked through.
To serve: place pork chops on serving plate and spoon apples and sauce over chops.
