Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. You won’t be breaking the buns apart for this recipe.
Cut the whole section of buns in half using a serrated knife (bread knife). Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the bread.
Using 6 slices of Swiss cheese, layer them on the bottoms of the rolls. Then add the ham slices on top of the cheese.
Add the rest of the cheese slices on top of the meat. Cover with the top halves of the buns. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, minced onion, and poppy seeds.
Pick up the whole sandwich and place it in a 13×9 inch baking dish. Brush the glaze generously over the top of the rolls, making sure to cover them evenly.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are lightly browned and crispy. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before serving.
