Weekly Family Meal Plan #22
Here’s this week’s Weekly Family Meal Plan! My goal is to make your life just a bit easier. You’ll find a variety of dinner ideas sure to please even the pickiest eater. I plan to post them on Fridays, this way you will have time over the weekend to get to the necessary items on your shopping list for the week. Each week will features recipes from Blogghetti and other fabulous bloggers.
On the menu this week, I have chosen simple meals that pack a punch with flavor. Sometimes I don’t always stick the meal plan, and that’s okay. If we have leftovers from one meal, they quickly become all or part of dinner the next day. Occasionally, there is only enough leftover for my husband’s lunch the next day. Do what works for you and your family.
These weekly dinner ideas for busy families will help ease the question, “What’s for Dinner?”, and hopefully give you some new favorites. Let me know in the comments how they are working for you, or if you have suggestions. I’d love to hear from you.
A little about how the week goes…
- Sunday – Slow Cooker/Comfort Food Dinners
- Monday – Soup/Salad/Seafood/Meatless
- Tuesday – Taco Tuesdays (featuring Mexican flavors)
- Wednesday – One Pot Meals, 30 minute Meals
- Thursday – Burgers, Sandwiches, and Wraps
- Friday – Night off
- Saturday – Take-Out at Home

Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast from Hezzi-D’s Books and Cooks is my kind of comfort food. Leftovers make great lunches the next day or use the extra meat for sandwiches the next day.
I can’t wait to make this Tuscan White Bean Soup from Cheese Curd in Paradise. It is hearty and full of so much flavor.
Jess’s Chicken Enchiladas from Cooking with Carlee have just the right amount of heat from the green chilies, but I love that there are roasted red peppers in them.
You know I love a good sheet pan meal! Check out this Sheet Pan Roasted Chicken and Vegetables from Simple and Savory.
