Easy Addicting Corn

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I want corn to have more of a wow factor when I eat it.  Corn on it’s on with butter, salt and pepper is great but can get boring fast.  Typically I serve corn with mashed potatoes and there’s no real reason why that happens other than it seems like it “goes” together.

I saw this recipe for Easy Addicting Corn and never really gave it a thought till I wanted something different to do with corn.  So, I thought I would give it a try and it went over very well.  I don’t know about your family, but I definitely can
tell when mine really “like” what I make or when they are just appeasing my ego when they tell me, “it’s good.”  I failed to take a picture of the corn but you can click on the link above to see what it looked like, as well as the original recipe.  I followed the recipe for the most part, except that when the butter was melted I stirred in the seasonings at that point, then added the corn.  My Parmesan cheese was grated a bit more finely than that in the picture on the original recipe. This corn recipe will definitely be made again!

Ingredients:

1 Bag of Frozen Corn – 16 oz
2 Tablespoons of Butter
⅓ Cup of Parmesan Cheese
¼ Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
½ Teaspoon of Pepper
½ Teaspoon of Paprika

Instructions:

Over Medium Heat Melt Butter In A Medium Size Skillet.
Add frozen corn ( do NOT add extra water.) Cook for about 5 -7 minutes – stir every 2 minutes.
Add seasoning keep stirring till all corn is well coated.  Add cheese – stir for about 10 seconds

I served this side dish with Parmesan Pork Roast and Mashed Potatoes.
