Here’s this week’s Weekly Family Meal Plan! My goal is to make your life just a bit easier. You’ll find a variety of dinner ideas sure to please even the pickiest eater. I plan to post them on Fridays, this way you will have time over the weekend to get to the necessary items on your shopping list for the week. Each week will features recipes from Blogghetti and other fabulous bloggers.
This week, chicken was on sale at the grocery store and I decided to feature recipes this week using it. The recipes are easy to make plus you can have most of the meals ready to go for the week by prepping on the weekend. Of course, chicken isn’t the only meat this week! We’ve got shrimp, and beef, too. The thing I love about meal plans is you can have the basic recipe but use foods you have on hand. For example, if you have ground beef instead of chicken for the nachos, use it. Or, replace the beef in the sliders with ground turkey.
These weekly dinner ideas for busy families will help ease the question, “What’s for Dinner?”, and hopefully give you some new favorites. Let me know in the comments how they are working for you, or if you have suggestions. I’d love to hear from you.

- Sunday – Slow Cooker/Comfort Food Dinners
- Monday – Soup/Salad/Seafood/Meatless
- Tuesday – Taco Tuesdays (featuring Mexican flavors)
- Wednesday – One Pot Meals, 30 minute Meals
- Thursday – Burgers, Sandwiches, and Wraps
- Friday – Night off
- Saturday – Take-Out at Home
