Planning your weekly family meals is a cinch especially with a menu like this week’s.  Comfort food like mac and cheese and quick dinners will have you spending more time with the family than in the kitchen.  Then there’s two delicious desserts that are super easy to make for the week.

Here’s this week’s Weekly Family Meal Plan! My goal is to make your life just a bit easier. You’ll find a variety of dinner ideas sure to please even the pickiest eater. I plan to post them on Fridays, this way you will have time over the weekend to get to the necessary items on your shopping list for the week. Each week will features recipes from Blogghetti and other fabulous bloggers.

These weekly dinner ideas for busy families will help ease the question, “What’s for Dinner?”, and hopefully give you some new favorites.  Let me know in the comments how they are working for you, or if you have suggestions. I’d love to hear from you.

A little about how the week goes…

  • Sunday – Slow Cooker/Comfort Food Dinners
  • Monday – Soup/Salad/Seafood/Meatless
  • Tuesday – Taco Tuesdays (featuring Mexican flavors)
  • Wednesday – One Pot Meals, 30 minute Meals
  • Thursday – Burgers, Sandwiches, and Wraps
  • Friday – Night off
  • Saturday – Take-Out at Home

Mac and Cheese is comfort food, period.  Then you add bacon and it becomes another whole level of goodness.  Slow Cooker Creamy Mac and Cheese with Bacon from Cheese Curd in Paradise hits the spot for my family!

Black Bean and Roasted Corn Quesadillas are perfect for our Meatless Mondays.  We also love them as a snack while watching TV.

Sheet Pan Beef Nachos from Hall Nesting are great for a meal on Taco Tuesday and as game day food.

Italian Sausage Veggie Sheet Pan Meal from Books-n-Cooks makes me so happy for two reasons.  First, Italian sausage – love it.  Second, this is a sheet pan meal – that means easy clean up!

Homemade Cheesesteak from Simple and Savory are your answer to sandwich night! Add a tossed salad and your meal is complete.

What a delicious make-at-home “take-out” meal this Pork Piccata Stir-Fry from A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventures is!  It looks so yummy!

Even though the calendar is indicating that Fall is coming, the temps here say otherwise so I am craving this S’Mores Cobbler from 4 Sons ‘R Us.

However, because the calendar does indicate that Fall is coming, it’s time to make my Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread.  It’s so good!
