Create an Easter Candy Charcuterie Board for dessert with your favorite Easter candy. This candy dessert board is easy to make and festive to display and eat! Typically, charcuterie boards have meats and cheeses, but we, as Americans, have adapted the term to mean anything that goes on a grazing board.

With easy assembly and endless options for customization, this candy board creates Easter sweets into a playful, edible display that feels like a giant Easter basket for everyone.

This Easter Candy Charcuterie Board includes many of my favorite candies. I am totally addicted to mini Robin eggs and those chocolate-covered strawberries. I have such a sweet tooth at Easter.

Having a few Easy Easter Egg Sugar Cookies in the mix was one of our favorites, too. Add some Coconut Macaroon Nests or White Chocolate Covered Oreos to the basket for even more festive flair.

Easter Candy Charcuterie Board

Building this Easter sweets board is a lot of fun and takes zero stress, making it the perfect last-minute addition to your holiday menu. There’s no right or wrong way to do it, you can stick to store-bought favorites or toss in a few homemade goodies to make it your own.

The secret to making it look great is using plenty of seasonal candy to get those classic pastel colors. By mixing crunchy white fudge pretzels with chewy marshmallows and a big chocolate bunny, you get a great balance of textures that looks just as good as it tastes. It’s an easy way to create a beautiful springtime dessert.

Picking the right tray is half the fun, and any of these styles will give your candy display that extra “wow” factor. Once you’ve got your board ready, it’s time to move on to the fun part—the treats!

Timesaving Tips and Variations

Making a stunning board doesn’t have to take hours. These tips will help you assemble it quickly or swap in seasonal favorites.

  • Use store-bought chocolate-covered strawberries instead of making your own.
  • If you’re using a wicker tray or a porous wooden board, line it with parchment paper.
  • Use small bowls for the candy that will easily roll away like the jelly beans and M&M’s.
  • Add your bowl-filled items first to the board and then your bigger items.
  • Get creative! Love peanut butter eggs or chocolate eggs? Add them to the board!
  • Substitute a white chocolate Easter bunny for a chocolate bunny.
  • Marshmallow Peeps come in quite a few colors and shapes now.
  • Get the kids involved in assembling the array of sweets.

With these simple tips, you can create a festive dessert display without stress, keeping all the fun and sweetness intact.

What to Serve with an Easter Candy Board

This board shines on its own, but pairing it with a few savory treats or seasonal fruits can turn it into a complete appetizer and sweets spread. Think light, spring-inspired additions that don’t compete with the candy but enhance the presentation.

Offering a mix of sweet, savory, and fresh options means there’s a little something for everyone to snack on.

If you have time, make these Mini Egg cookies to add to the tray of goodies. It’s a great way to use some of the Easter candy and to give more sweet options for your guests.

How to Make a Candy Charcuterie Board

Step 1

Make the chocolate-covered strawberries: Melt ½ cup chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth (don’t overheat). Dip the strawberries and place them on parchment to set. Melt ¼ cup pink candy wafers and pipe squiggly lines over the strawberries. Let them set completely before adding to the board.

Step 2

Line the tray with green paper confetti to create a barrier and add a festive pop of color. Place Robin Eggs in a small ramekin at the top left. Add jelly beans to a slightly larger bowl near the bottom center. Arrange bunny grahams in a bowl toward the top left, and finish with M&Ms in a small ramekin at the bottom right.

Step 3

Arrange the Hershey’s Kisses below the bunny grahams, letting them flow between the jelly beans and M&M bowls. Place the vanilla wafers under the Robin Eggs, angling them down beside the jelly beans. Add the strawberry wafers beneath the bunny grahams, to the right of the Kisses, arranging them diagonally toward the top of the M&Ms bowl.

Step 4

Stack four Peeps bunnies at the top, angled between the Robin Eggs and bunny grahams. Add a stack of five Peeps chicks at the bottom, just below the Hershey’s Kisses.

Step 5

Spread a thin layer of mini marshmallows in the center beneath the Peeps bunnies. Set the chocolate bunny on top and fill in around it with more marshmallows. Add another stack of Peeps to the top right corner, then place four chocolate-covered strawberries in the bottom left between the vanilla wafers and the Peeps.

Step 6

Place white chocolate pretzels in the bottom right and Easter marshmallows in the top left. Fill gaps with Peeps, two under the marshmallows, one bottom left, and one under the chicks on the right. Add more Hershey’s Kisses to the top center and finish with three Easter egg cookies on top.

Step 7

Fill the top area near the marshmallows with more pretzels. Add M&M’s along the right side by the strawberries and tuck mini marshmallows into any gaps. Place a few extra pretzels in the top right corner, then finish with decorative carrots on the tray. Use the images as a guide to fill the remaining spaces.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 8 Peeps bunnies (pink)
  • 10 Peeps chicks (yellow)
  • ½ cup Mini Robin Eggs
  • 10 ounce bag Easter M&M's
  • 7 ounce bag Brach's Speckled Jelly Bird eggs (jelly beans)
  • 10.1 ounce bag Easter Hershey Kisses
  • 5 ounce bag Flipz White Fudge Pretzels (white chocolate covered pretzels)
  • cups Annie's Mini Bunny Graham Crackers
  • 2 cups Fruity Flavored Miniature Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Easter Marshmallows
  • 10 vanilla cookie wafers
  • 8 strawberry cookie wafers
  • 5 chocolate covered strawberries
  • 3 Easter egg cookies
  • 1 chocolate bunny
  • 5 mini carrot decorations (non-edible and can be found at the Dollar Tree)

Instructions

  • If you are making chocolate-covered strawberries, melt a half cup of chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth and melted (don’t over melt or they will seize up). Dip the strawberries in and place on parchment paper to set.
Once set, melt 1/4 cup pink candy wafers according to the package directions and then using a piping bag, add a few squiggly lines onto the strawberries. Allow to set completely before adding to the charcuterie board.
  • Arrange some green paper confetti scraps into the bottom of your tray to act as a barrier between the food and the tray, or for a pop of festive color here and there. Add the Robin Eggs to a small ramekin bowl, and arrange at the top left area of the tray.
Add the jelly beans to a slightly larger bowl, and place them towards the middle bottom of the tray. Next, add the bunny graham crackers to a slightly larger bowl, and arrange towards the top left of the tray. Finally, add the M&Ms to a small ramekin and arrange towards the bottom right of the tray.
  • Arrange the Hershey’s Kisses underneath the bunny grahams bowl, flowing between the jelly eggs and M&M’s bowls. Next, arrange the vanilla wafer cookies under the Robin Eggs, flowing down on an angle, next to the jelly beans.
Place the strawberry wafer cookies under the bunny grahams bowl, to the right of the Hershey’s kisses, flowing on a diagonal, ending at the top of the M&Ms bowl.
  • Arrange a 4 stack of Peeps bunnies on an angle at the top between the Robin Eggs and bunny grahams. The, add a 5 stack of Peeps chicks at the bottom, under the Hershey’s Kisses.
  • Do a thin layer of mini marshmallows between the bowl and under the Peeps Bunnies in the bare middle section. Place the chocolate bunny on top of the marshmallows, and fill around the bunny with more marshmallows.
Add another peep stack to the top right corner and the 4 chocolate covered strawberries bottom left between the vanilla cookies and the Peeps.
  • Arrange some white chocolate covered pretzels in the bottom right corner and some Easter marshmallows in the top left corner. Fill in spots with Peep bunnies: 2 under the Easter marshmallows, 1 bottom left corner, and 1 on the right edge under the Peep chicks (above the strawberry cookie wafers).
Add more Hershey’s Kisses to fill in the top middle. Place the 3 Easter egg cookies, one over each set of Hershey’s Kisses, and one over the mini marshmallows and vanilla wafers.
  • Fill in the bare area at the top next to the Easter marshmallows with more pretzels. Then fill in the right side with some M&M’s by the strawberries. In the area by the strawberries, fill in gaps with mini marshmallows.
Add a few more pretzels top right corner. Add more mini marshmallows to any remaining gaps. The final touch to add to the board are the decorative carrots (non-edible) to the tray. Use the images in the blog post as a guide where to fill in gaps.
