I totally am not a fan Oreo cookies – gasp! But I am a fan of these delicious and easy to make Bunny Oreo Balls. They are just too cute not to like plus using the Mint Oreo Cookies makes it even better. How cute would these bunny treats be to see on Easter?

Oreo Bunny Balls are super fun to make and eat, but I love that the kids can make this with you. It’s best to have a bit of adult supervision when it comes to melting the white chocolate wafers in the microwave but decorating the bunnies is pretty simple.

Bunny Oreo Balls

Bunny Oreo Balls are made with Oreos, cream cheese, white chocolate, pink sugar crystals, and candy melts. No oven needed! That right there is a big bonus with me when it comes to desserts. Not a fan of mint? Use regular Oreos or try the golden oreos in this recipe.

These Oreo truffles would look great on your Easter dessert table and if you’re kids need a treat to bring into school – this is it!

Everyone will love these Bunny Cookies – even non-Oreo cookie eating people!

How to Make Bunny Oreo Cookies

Step 1

Make the bunny ears by cutting miniature marshmallows in half diagonally. Immediately press the cut side into pink sanding sugar. Set aside.

Step 2

Prepare two baking sheets with waxed paper.

Step 3

Place the mint oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until the cookies become fine crumbs. Cut the cream cheese into chunks and add the cream cheese to the food processor. Pulse until the mixture is well blended and forms a large ball.

Step 4

Using a small cookie scoop, portion the cookie dough into 1-inch balls and roll into a smooth ball. Optional: For best results, freeze the oreo balls prior to decorating.

Step 5

Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and tap to remove the excess chocolate. Place the cookie ball on the prepared baking sheets that are lined with wax paper. Once the chocolate is set, decorate the bunny features using the remainder of the melted chocolate and a toothpick.

Tip: If using candy melts, add vegetable shortening or coconut oil to the candy as it melts. This makes the candy spread move evenly and creates a smoother shell around the truffle.

Step 6

Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or until firm.  Then serve!
