Cracking Eggs Tip
Check out the video below for a great tip! |
Last year I had the opportunity to attend a Taste of Home Cooking School show and enjoyed it very much. At a Taste of Home Cooking School show, you’ll experience a 2-hour demonstration of recipes, tips, and decorating ideas. The Culinary Specialists show you step-by-step instructions on how to create easy and delicious dishes. Everyone who attends receives a good bag with sample, coupons, a Taste of Home Cookbook and a magazine (they include a free subscription too.) You leave with recipe cards for all the dishes made that night and you even have a chance to win door prizes and the recipe made on stage with the cookware or serving dishes. It’s a lot of fun, even if you don’t win anything (like I didn’t.)
One of the tips the Chef showed us that evening was how to crack eggs against each other with only one of the eggs breaking. Now, you may say you already know this and yada, yada, yada. But, I had not heard of this tip before. The Chef cracked many eggs that night and each time she tapped two together, only one would break! Of course, you know I had to try that when I got home and it does indeed work. Try it out!
As you can see from the video, my daughter tapped the two eggs pretty hard together and only one broke!
