Do you have a Sonic Drive-in Restaurant near you? We’ve got several where I live and it’s always a treat to stop and order one of their many flavor combinations of drinks, like this Ocean Water. I love the color and the coconut flavor, not to mention if you go during their happy hours, the drinks are all half-price!
This easy Sonic Ocean Water Copycat Recipe is one of my daughter’s favorites from the restaurant and I was more than glad to make the drink at home for us to enjoy. With just 5 ingredients, the recipe’s simplicity means we can make it anytime we crave the tropical drink. Our second favorite Sonic drink is their Cherry Limeade and we make both drinks all summer long.

What is Sonic Ocean Water?
Ocean Water is a coconut-flavored drink mixed with Sprite or lemon-lime soda. It’s summer in a glass! It makes you want to be at the beach sipping on the coconut drink all day long.
If you’re having a pool party, beach-themed party, or a luau-themed party, this drink is a must on the menu. I make these fun beach-themed cupcakes to enjoy while we are sipping on the Ocean Water drinks.
You can serve it with fun colored paper straws, or give an even more tropical vibe by adding a paper umbrella.
