Happiness is Homemade: Marshmallows and Cute DIY Home Decor
Welcome to our Happiness is Homemade Link Party!
We’re glad you’ve joined us this week and send our best wishes to all of the Fathers out there and hope they have an amazing day. Let’s get this week’s link party started with a sweet message from our hostess, Carol.
Happy Father’s Day to all dads out there. Neither Sweet Shark nor I have our dads here any more, but they are always with us. But Sweet Shark is a dad and granddad and our son~in~law is an amazing dad to our 2 granddaughters, so we have many dads to be thankful for. Welcome to Happiness is Homemade Link Party 225. We’re happy to have you here and I’m always excited to be your hostess and have the privilege of choosing our weekly features. Enjoy your day and linking and reading and Pinning.
Happiness is Homemade Link Party 225 Features of the Week
You all are so talented. Creating DIY projects, recipes, home decor and crafts of all sorts. I’ve selected a little bit of this and that for this week’s features. Hope you enjoy.
Have you ever bought a bag os marshmallows at the store and bring them home and they are stiff and stale when you open the bag? Not a good thing. But homemade marshmallows are like eating a cloud. Merissa of Little House Living shows us how to make the fluffiest homemade marshmallows. Yummy!
What is worse than untangling Christmas lights and then have them not work? Hanging multiple pieces of art and getting them straight and level. Or having pictures with double hooks. Really hate that one. Lindsay of Repurposed and Upcycle shows us 2 ways to hang pictures that will help you keep your stress level down and have a “picture~perfect” pretty group of art.
Have you ever used moss to create a pretty decorative item for your home? I have, but I never thought of making a cake with it. See how Stacey of Poofing the Pillows did just that. What a creative idea to bake a flower~topped moss covered cake.
It’s always nice to welcome guests at your front door. But what about greeting them as they walk to the front door? Tammy of Patina and Paint shows us how to make this welcome garden sign to brighten your front sidewalk, porch or yard.
It’s time to start thinking about 4th of July decorations for our homes. Angie of The Country Chic Cottage shows us how to make this awesome 4th of July table runner. She also has an awesome video to teach us how to make the stencils.
If you have 4th of July decor, DIY projects or recipes to share, please link them because I’ll be looking for some for next week’s features. Have a great week.

Hi Lisa,
Happy Father’s Day . Thanks for hosting . I’ve posted a very special piece called Stay Vintage for my son. Grateful for Happiness is Homeade.
Thanks for hosting, Lisa. I’m #129 this time. Hope everyone likes my lovely just-like-from-the-oven, tender and sliceable (not shredded) pork loin roast, done on a hot summer day in the slow cooker.
Thanks for a lovely party.
