Air Fryer Grilled Peaches are a simple summer dessert and take no time at all to make. Loaded with a cinnamon sugar filling, these peaches will be a favorite to make in the air fryer.

Living in the Peach State of Georgia, I am in heaven when it’s peach season. I often go to the closest orchard and buy fresh peaches and wander around the little shop the place has. I tend to buy way to many peaches, more than we can eat before they go bad.

When I buy more than we can eat, I will peel them, cut them into slices and freeze the peaches. They are perfect for smoothies and desserts like this peach sorbet. Use the fresh peaches in recipes like this peach salsa or homemade peach syrup for iced tea.

Of course, grilling peaches for a delicious dessert brings out the best of the fruit, if that’s even possible. This particular day, it was raining and I really wanted a grilled peach! I pulled out the air fryer and made them in there.

What do grilled peaches in the air fryer taste like?

Oh My Gosh! Perfection! Seriously, they were amazing. Think of the peach filling for cobbler or pie and you’re just about there. Then think sweet peaches with a buttery brown sugar cinnamon filling caramelized on them. Add a scoop of vanilla ice and you’re there!

Grilling fruit always brings out so much of the natural sweetness, and with the peaches it’s magical.

Do Grilled Peaches need to be ripe?

The answer to this is no. You actually want slightly under ripe peaches. The peaches have enough sweetness in them and by air frying the fruit it will soften and they become perfectly ripe.

How to make Grilled Peaches in the air fryer?

It’s so easy! That’s why I love this recipe. I can have delicious air fryer peaches in minutes. I used the Cuisinart Air Fryer/Toaster Oven for this recipe. It easily fits all 8 halves of the peaches in it.

Step 1

Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees. Prepare the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a small bowl, cut together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter until well blended.

Step 3

With a sharp knife, halve and pit each peach. Brush each peach half with a bit of the olive oil. Place peaches into the air fryer basket with the cut side down. Cook the peaches in the air fryer for 7 to 12 minutes, depending on the wattage of your machine and the firmness of the peaches, until caramelized on top.

Step 4

Carefully open the air fryer and turn the peaches over using a large spoon. Place a spoonful of the butter mixture in each peach.

Step 5

Serve immediately topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, or a drizzle of honey, if desired.

How do I store leftovers?

If you happen to have leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container and reheated. Consume within 3 days. The grilled peaches will not freeze well. They will thaw and be mushy, and will be inedible.

Can you use canned peaches for Grilled Peaches?

It’s not advisable to use canned peaches for this recipe. Canned peaches are already ripe and they would get too mushy in the air fryer.

Can I use other fruits?

Yes, try this recipe with other stone fruits like nectarines, plums, apricots. Apples are great this way, too.

Love peaches and ice cream and especially love that this works with under ripe peaches. I always get some that refuse to ripen. I’ve solve the problem by canning them but this is so much easier!
