smoothie made with Door County coffee

I used Door County Coffee‘s Raspberry Almond coffee and it is just one of my favorites from their line. It is perfect for this smoothie and for your every day coffee drinking. There hasn’t been a flavor from Door County that I haven’t loved and thanks to them, I have tried several!

How to make Raspberry Almond Coffee Smoothies

I’ve got a great tip for your bananas.  If you’re like me, you’ll buy bananas and then have just one or two left before they go bad. These are perfect for freezing.  Freeze them whole (unpeeled) to make this delicious banana bread. Slice them and flash freeze them before placing slices into a freezer bag to use in smoothies.

While this recipe makes one good sized smoothie, it’s easy to double or triple.  I used almond milk, but any milk of your choice would be great, too.  Adding a bit of oatmeal flakes gives this coffee smoothie even more health benefits.  You’ll want to make sure your coffee is brewed on the strong side for this recipe.

Once you have all the ingredients in the blender, pulse till smooth and serve. Simple and delicious.

This was so refreshing for breakfast this morning. Loved the raspberry and banana. Even my kids had a sip and requested I make more next time. Although they will just have a small glass 🙂
