We usually have pizza a couple of times a month and order from a few favorite places. Sometimes I really want pizza but something other than our usual order of large pizzas. This Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Flatbread Pizza is an excellent change of pace but still in the pizza family. I think it’s the marinara sauce I want a change from, and the creamy white sauce is perfect with the shredded chicken, broccoli, and mozzarella cheese.

While pizza on its own is great, we like to serve ours with garlic knots and a simple tossed salad. I always have extra Alfredo sauce left so I use it to make this pizza so we have choices, just like if we’d ordered from the pizza joint.

February 9th is Pizza Day so why not make this chicken broccoli flatbread pizza! New favorites are always great to add to the menu.

This flatbread pizza recipe is super simple thanks to the grocery store shortcuts I used. My chicken and broccoli alfredo pizza relies on shredded rotisserie chicken and either a store-bought alfredo sauce or make your own. My homemade creamy alfredo sauce can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator so it’s ready when you are ready to assemble the pizzas.

I even saved time by buying our favorite flatbreads in place of making a homemade pizza crust. You can use frozen or fresh broccoli that you steam till tender but not mushy, and freshly grated mozzarella cheese.

Using shortcuts means dinner is on the table in a flash, faster than the delivery driver can get to your house. It’s even faster than making a frozen pizza in the oven!
